ESI Board of Directors announces the appointment of Paula Wiese to the board. Paula will be joining the Board in January and will replace Dennis Abts who will be stepping down after 18 years service.

Paula works at Nicolet Bank as the AVP, Regional Retail Manager in Door, Kewaunee and Manitowoc counties. Having been born and raised in Algoma, Paula is familiar with ESI and supports its mission. She previously served on the Algoma City Council, St. Mary’s School Board, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Shanty Days Committee. Paula brings to the board her experience in management, human resources, recruiting, and servant leadership. Paula looks forward to working on projects to better the lives of individuals with a disability and we look forward to her input and direction.

ESI also thanks Atty. Dennis Abts for his many years of dedication, leadership and service. Dennis joined the board in May of 2004 and has been an integral member of the organization, serving a variety of roles on the board – most notably his direction as legal counsel.
