The ESI Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Ravet to the board. Ann Ravet will join the board in January, succeeding Joel Weichelt, who is preparing to step down.
A native of Kewaunee County, Ann has deep roots in the area, having been born, raised, and now raising her own children there. She retired from the Kewaunee School District in August 2022 after more than 34 years of dedicated service as a secretary and paraprofessional.
Ann is married to Paul, and together they have a daughter, Jenna, and ason, Jaden. Even in her retirement, Ann dedicates her time to coaching Special Olympics Track and Field and working part-time at Billy’s on Main in Luxemburg, which is owned by her brother Bill.
Ann brings a wealth of passion, commitment, and experience to the board, particularly in advocating for individuals with diverse abilities. Her dedication stems from her personal experiences as an advocate for her own daughter, Jenna. Ann is eager to contribute her insights from a parent’s perspective on how ESI can enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys attending Brewer, Bucks, and Packer games, as well as spending quality time with her family at their cabin in Amberg, where they work on their land together.
ESI also extends its gratitude to Joel Weichelt for his unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission. Joel joined the board in July 2015 and previously served as the Director of Manufacturing at ESI for over 38 years.
